Raouf Benia

Réalisateur et Scénariste algérien.

Né en 1978 à Médéa. Baccalauréat en 1997, suivi d’un cursus universitaire en interprétariat puis en informatique (2002). Influencé par sa mère cinéphile, il entame ensuite une formation de réalisateur sur internet chez Cinecours.com. En septembre 2010, il participe au concours d’écriture de scénario organisé par Thala Films Production. Il écrit son premier scénario Un jour à Alger sélectionné dans le cadre du projet « Alger Demain, les films » qu’il réalise en janvier 2011.

Born in 1978 in Médéa. Baccalaureate in 1997 followed by university studies in interpreting and then computer science (2002). Influenced his film-loving mother, he then trained as a director on the internet at Cinecours.com.
In September 2010 he entered the screenplay competition organised by Thala Films Production. He wrote his first screenplay, Un jour à Alger, and this was selected within the framework of the project « Alger Demain, les films » and made in January 2011.
