Edna Luise Biesold was born in Leipzig, former East Germany. She went to school in Germany and England before entering university. She received a master's degree in literature and linguistics in Berlin. After shooting films in Berlin and within the master's program of the London Film School, Edna entered NYU's Tisch arts in 2009 in order to pursue her MFA in cinematography. http://www.ednaluise.net
