About me
During the work on a social project for orphans in Cameroon I initiated (look at www.education-obala.org), I noticed how high was the lack in local social system when dealing with rights which should be respected by all.
Every stay in Cameroon, the country I am coming from is very intense and at the same time very difficult. The main difficulty behind the warm welcome I am often given, is always to notice how forgotten poor women and children are living. How hard young mothers are fighting dailing to feed their babies and how orphans and children are threaten to be abused without any respect for their dignity.
Shared between Africa, my continent of origin and the fundament of my existence and Europe, continent that I choosed and from which I started my social fight against any kinds of discrimination and for Gender equality.
My personal and professional commitment against the marginalization of minorities, for a full respect of Human dignity and a fair trade between developed countries and those which are still poor in terms of high illiteracy rate among the population or having a daily income per inhabitant lower than 1 – 2 dollars, is in fact the result of my own story.
Story that started in April, 1980 in Yaounde (Cameroon). I am born in a family of ten children and occupy the fifth place. My parents, journalist and primary school teacher of profession immigrated in the north of the country, to Maroua where I spent eleven years of my life. faced with the local realities and with the cultural and social gap between the South and the North of the country, I integrated successfully myself into the local system and experienced intense moment in the contact with the local populations.
My numerous journeys between the North of Cameroon which I lived in and the South of the country, where I came from enabled me to take into account the geographical and cultural beauty as well as the religious and identity variety of this immense country.
The problems I had to face with during my life spent in Cameroon, Chad, France and Austia and the experiences I gained when always looking for an adequate solution to solve these problems, helped me to improve internationally and achieve a better intercultural sensivity.
I am currently writing my MBA Thesis in German under the title » Österreichische EZA – Organisationen in den Schwerpunktländern Afrikas ».
