Tapfuma Gusta, born 1956 worked with the old masters of the First Generation, studied Art in London from 1982 to 1985 and is a connoisseur of the both the African and International Art world. It has been said that Tapfuma Gutsa is one the most creative sculptors in Zimbabwe and has set himself apart by producing highly experimental works using stone, wood and metal. He has a keen interest in supporting and promoting up and coming young Zimbabwean artists as well as his students in Austria and Germany,. He is always on the look out for new materials in integrate into his sculptures.
