Sayed Fouad

Scénariste et dramaturge égyptien, Sayed FOUAD EL-GENNARY a été formé au Département de scénario de l’Institut de Cinéma du Caire (Higher Institute of Cinema) en 1993, après un diplôme en droit obtenu à l’Université du Caire en 1989.

Il est à l’origine de la création du LAFF (Festival du Film africain de Luxor) dont il est le Président. Sayed Fouad El-Gennary est le Président du Conseil d’Administration de la Independent Shabab Foundation (ISF), fondation qui organise le Festival du Film africain de Luxor (Luxor African film festival, LAFF) dont la 1ère édition a eu lieu en 2012.

Sayed FOUAD EL-GENNARY is graduated from the Department of scenario at the Higher Institute of Cinema in 1993 and holds a law degree from Cairo University in 1989. Writer and director of number of works (films, theater and television), he is the head of the Division of scenario in filmmakers syndicate Sayed has participated in the foundation of the independent theaters trend in Egypt in 1989,he is also one of the founders of the coalition of independent culture in Egypt 2011 and played a critical role in supporting young artists in Egypt.

He is President of the Board of Trustees, at Independent Shabab Foundation (ISF) the organizer of the Luxor African film festival (LAFF, 1st edition held in 2012).
