I Am A Film Maker
Dear friends,
The Pan African Film Foundation is delighted to relate our mutual commitment to the evolution and advancement of African Film narratives, technical know-how and conscious sensitization of the African cinema audience. Of course that has been the mission: traverse the African continent and showcase our stories to also bring home the Diaspora.
It is motivating to note that the African Diaspora is yet to be well informed or entertained by the African cinema. This is because film narratives sometimes do not reflect the needs of the African wherever he or she is in this pervasive information age.
The African Film Development Awards, A PROJECT OF THE FOUNDATION also demonstrates another milestone towards actualising that mission of distributing Africa sensitive movies envisioned on continual sensitisation of the African mind.
We love to acknowledge support of partners and associate all along this chosen path to sound and look African on screen, therefore live African off-screen. We therefore continue to appeal to all our sponsors, partners and associates to strengthen their believe in this course.
We thank you all!
Mykel ‘Parish,’ Ajaere
President, PAFDAF.
