Biography

Judith Audu Foght hails from Edo State in Nigeria. The only girl in a family of five, she was born on the 1st of July at the Navy Town Ojo, Lagos to Audu Ali Audu, a naval officer and Gift Salamat Audu, a business woman and restaurateur. Judith Audu Foght attended Navy Town Primary and Secondary Schools, Ojo, Lagos after which she moved on to the University of Lagos where she obtained a B.A in French and a Master’s degree in Public and International Affairs.

Judith started taking roles in stage plays during her school days joining different theatre groups including the famous Theatre 15 while at the University of Lagos. It was here that she was groomed and learnt the rudiment of acting. She participated in numerous stage performances and got involved in Television and movie production while still at the University of Lagos

In 2004, she got her first movie roles in Life is Beautiful directed by Femi Ogedengbe and Hammer directed by Izu Ojukwu. She also featured in her first Television series One love which was produced by Alpha Vision. As a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Kebbi State between 2006 and 2007, Judith worked at the Kebbi State Television Service as Presenter/Producer of French for Beginners in addition to being Artistic Director for the NYSC Dance and Drama Troupe.

Judith took time off acting to concentrate on her studies until 2010 when she returned and has remained a fulltime professional actor.

After her return, she has since featured in Television series like Emerald, Seekers, Huzze’ Burning Spears, Tinsel, Case file, Rush, House A-part and The Journey, e.t.c. Movies in which she has featured include: Stopping kloe, Yes i Don’t, Comfort Zone, Funtime, Yes I don’t, Love is overrated, Life if beautiful, Innocent Devil, Secret IV, Zanga, Married but living single, 4 Walls and Switch, a movie shot in Sierra Leone, e.t.c. She has equally taken part in numerous Drama productions on Radio. This talented actor who is simply known as Judith Audu by her fans and admirers is also she is also a voice over artiste photography model

Judith is also a blogger who maintain two blogs. She shares information about upcoming actors, food recipes and general entertainment gist devoid of gossips on her blog, www.judithaudu.blogspot.com and www.playingwithrecipes.blogspot.com.

A very serious minded and disciplined actor, Judith who is dedicated to improving her skills is blessed with the skills to learn and adapt to new environments fast. She derives joy from acting, taking pictures, cooking, surfing the web, networking, watching movies and listening to music. Judith Audu recently delved into production and shot a short film while she is working on her Television programme.
