Tony Koros est scénariste, réalisateur et producteur. Il débute sa carrière comme rédacteur pour le compte de Mheshimiwa, la plus grande chaine de télévision du Kenya. Il a écrit « Jane & Abel » et « One in a Million », tous deux diffusés par les grands réseaux de télévision par câble. Il a également réalisé des courts métrages fictions qui ont été présentés dans plus de trente festivals internationaux dont Palm Springs International Shortfest, Clermont Ferrand, FESPACO, Durban. Il a remporté le Prix Sembène au Festival International du Film de Zanzibar et son film Chebet a remporté en 2018 le Prix CINIT award au 28ème Festival du Cinéma Africain, Asiatique et Américain Latin de Milan. Il a été bénéficiaire de la bourse Harvey en 2014, de la bourse de l’Association de la Presse Etrangère à Hollywood (Hollywood Foreign Press Association) en 2019 et il est diplômé du Programme Tisch en cinéma de l’Université de New York.

Tony Koros is a screenwriter, director and producer. He began his career as a staff writer for « Mheshimiwa » in Kenya’s highest rated television network. He has written for « Jane & Abel » and « One in a Million » both airing on Africa’s largest cable networks. His short films have screened at Durban International Film Festival and won the Sembene prize at the Zanzibar International Film Festival. He is a recipient of the Harvey fellowship (2014).

Tony Koros is a screenwriter, director and producer. His short films have screened at over thirty international film festivals including Palm Springs International Shortfest, Clermont Ferrand, FESPACO. He is a recipient of the Harvey fellowship, the 2019 Hollywood Foreign Press Association grant and a graduate of NYU’s Tisch Graduate Film Program. His previous short film, Chebet, won the CINIT award at the 28th African, Asian and Latin American Film Festival (Milan 2018).

I suoi cortometraggi sono stati proiettati in oltre trenta festival cinematografici internazionali tra cui il Palm Springs International Shortfest, Clermont Ferrand, FESPACO. Ha ottenuto la borsa di studio di Harvey e quella della Hollywood Foreign Press Association nel 2019, e si è laureato presso il Tisch Graduate Film Program della NYU. Il suo precedente cortometraggio Chebet ha vinto il premio CINIT alla 28ª edizione del Festival del Cinema Africano, d’Asia e America Latina.
