Abdullah MINIAWY est un acteur. Il est connu pour le film TLAMESS du réalisateur tunisien Ala Eddine Slim (2019) où il joue le rôle principal, S.
Abdullah Miniawy est un jeune poète, chanteur, et compositeur égyptien, originaire de la ville-oasis d’El-Fayoum. Il a joué devant des dizaines de milliers de personne sur les places du Caire et dans les clubs de la ville en marge des mouvements révolutionnaires, avant de s’installer en Europe où il multiplie les projets avec La Voix est Libre, les groupes Carl-Gari ou SighFire. Sur sa route, il a croisé le trompettiste Érik Truffaz, le rappeur Marc Nammour, les joueurs de oud Kamilya Jubran et Mehdi Haddab… Attaché à la liberté et à la circulation des idées, il poste ses morceaux en écoute libre sur Internet.Musiciens multi-instrumentistes installés à Paris, Peter Corser (angl.) et Karsten Hochapfel (all.) accompagnent de nombreux styles de spectacles improvisés, jazz et musique du monde. Yom (fr.), clarinettiste néo-klezmer aux influences variées, les rejoint dans cette démarche de rencontres musicales sans frontière, riches de mélanges.

Abdullah MINIAWY is an actor. He is known for TLAMESS feature directed by Ala Eddine Slim (2019, Tunisia): he stars as « S. », the main male character.
Abdullah Miniawy is 24 years old, Egyptian artist mainly known as
a writer & chanter, who performed around the world shoulder to shoulder with great names notably headed by Erik Truffaz, and also performed in many prestigious festivals such as [festival d’Avignon 72e].
His album Darraje with the Münich based trio Carl-Gari was selectedby the prestigious NPR as one of best album of 2016. His vital projects are currently a mark in evoking a new theory in musicology.
Current projects : Le Cri du Caire, a trio based in Paris, France, with Carl-gari, a trio based in Munich, Germany & also in a duo with Hyperpotamus who based in Madrid, Spain.
The artist philosophical lyrics were sprayed over different outskirts
during the Egyptian revolution in 2011, as well as many different regions, notably headed by Yarmouk, Camp in Syria.
« I intended to stop making music during a walk in Alexandria 2013, but the screams out of an armored vehicle singing my lyrics made me change my mind. »
