Natalija Gormalova

Natalija Gormalova (Lettonie, 1987) est une photographe et une cinéaste basée à Accra, au Ghana. À l’âge de 17 ans, elle a déménagé à Londres où elle a étudié la photographie au LCC et a ensuite reçu une bourse pour étudier le master en photographie au Royal College of Art.   Elle s’est installée au Ghana en 2015 et depuis lors, elle crée des œuvres sur tout le continent. Ses travaux photographiques ont été publiés dans le New York Times, le National Geographic, le Washington Post, etc. Actuellement, Natalija vit à Accra, au Ghana, et travaille comme photographe et cinéaste indépendante pour divers médias et ONG internationales.

Natalija Gormalova (Latvia, 1987) is a photographer and filmmaker based in Accra, Ghana. At the age of 17 she moved to London where she studied Photography at the LCC and later received scholarship to study Masters in   Photography at the Royal College of Art.   She moved to Ghana in 2015 and since than she has been creating work across the continent. Her photographic works have been published in The New York Times, The National Geographic, The Washington Post etc. Currently Natalija lives in Accra, Ghana and works as a freelance photographer and filmmaker for various media outlets and international NGO’s.
