Candice Onyeama

Candice est une scénariste et cinéaste basée à Londres. Ses courts métrages ont été présentés à la télévision et dans des festivals internationaux du monde entier. Son premier court métrage, HUSH, a été primé dans la catégorie Afro Punk et a été diffusé sur la chaîne de télévision London Live. Il a été acquis pour être distribué par la chaîne en ligne Tall Tales du Little Dot Studio. Son court-métrage suivant, Once An old Lady Sat On My Chest, a été acquis pour être distribué par HerFlix. Son dernier court-métrage soutenu par le réseau BFI, Born Again, est sur le circuit des festivals. Candice a été chargée d’écrire et de réaliser divers travaux pour des organisations telles que Orchid Cancer Charity, Into Film. Son dernier script Hello Daddy a fait partie de la liste des 50 scénarios de la BBC soumis à la chambre d’écriture, sur un total record de près de 7000. Elle est membre de Director’s UK et participe au BAFTA Crew 2019.

Candice is a screenwriter and filmmaker based in London. Her shorts have screened on television and international festivals around the world. Her award winning debut short film HUSH featured in Afro Punk and was broadcast on the television network London Live. It was acquired for distribution by Little Dot Studio’s online channel Tall Tales. Her follow up short Once An old Lady Sat On My Chest was acquired for distribution by HerFlix. Her most recent BFI Network supported short film Born Again, is on the festival circuit. Candice has been commissioned to write and make diverse work for organisations including Orchid Cancer Charity, Into Film. Her latest lockdown script Hello Daddy was one of BBC writer’s room 50 longlisted scripts from a record submission of nearly 7000. She is a member of Director’s UK and a BAFTA Crew 2019 participant.
