Hamida Ait El Hadj

Hamida Aït El Hadj, dramaturge, metteur en scène et figure connue dans la sphère culturelle nationale, a été, en effet, nommée au poste au bonheur de nombreux observateurs de la scène culturelle locale qui y voient déjà la chance d’une relance pour l’activité dans la région. Détentrice d’une licence de psychologie à Paris VIII, puis d’un master of art, spécialité mise en scène à l’Institut supérieur de théâtre et de cinéma de Kiev (Ukraine actuellement), Hamida Aït El Hadj exerce depuis 1985 en Algérie. Outre la participation aux jurys des festivals nationaux de théâtre, elle a monté des spectacles, dont El Ghanima (Le butin) et Souk Enssa.

Elle prépare en ce moment le montage d’une adaptation, signée Omar Fetmouche, du roman Le Fleuve détourné de Rachid Mimouni.

Spectacle devant figurer parmi ceux retenus pour être présentés lors de la manifestation «Alger, capitale de la culture arabe.»

Amida Aït El Hadj, playwright, director and well-known figure in the national cultural sphere, has been, indeed, appointed to the post to the delight of many observers of the local cultural scene who already see it as a chance for a revival of activity in the region. Hamida Aït El Hadj holds a degree in psychology from Paris VIII, then a master of art, specializing in directing at the Higher Institute of Theater and Cinema in Kiev (currently Ukraine). She has been working in Algeria since 1985. In addition to participating in the juries of national theater festivals, she has staged shows including El Ghanima (The Spoils) and Souk Enssa.

She is currently preparing the editing of an adaptation, signed by Omar Fetmouche, of Rachid Mimouni's novel Le Fleuve détourner.

The show will be one of those selected to appear at the event "Algiers, capital of Arab culture.
