Maaike Anne Stevens (NL) est une artiste visuelle basée entre Amsterdam (NL) et Londres (UK). Elle a obtenu un BSC/MSC Industrial Design Engineering à la TU Delft (2005) avant d'obtenir un BFA au Central St.Martins College of Art and Design (2008) et un MFA Fine Arts au Goldsmiths College (2012).
Ses expositions passées comprennent des expositions collectives au Jerwood Space (Londres), à la Vitrine Gallery (Londres), à l'Art Gallery of Alberta (Edmonton) et au Museo de Arte Contemporáneo (Santiago). Elle a présenté des expositions personnelles à l'Acme Project Space (Londres), au Whitechapel Idea Store (Londres), au Artpocalypse Collective (Amsterdam) et plus récemment à la Galería Tajamar (Santiago). En 2017, elle a réalisé une sculpture permanente pour la façade du 26-32 Oxford Street à Londres, dans le cadre d'une commande pour Esa Architects et le conseil municipal de Westminster. Maaike a été deux fois présélectionnée pour le Jerwood Drawing Prize et a exécuté des travaux avec la Jealous Gallery London et le London Print Studio, tous deux dans le cadre de prix pour diplômés récents. Elle a fait partie du Catlin Guide 2013 " présentant les 40 nouveaux artistes diplômés les plus prometteurs du Royaume-Uni ". Elle a effectué des séjours de travail au Banff Centre (Canada), à Arquetopia, Puebla (Mexique), à l'Atelier Austmarka (Norvège) et à Tiznit (Maroc) avec Slow Research Lab. Son travail fait partie de la collection permanente du Victoria & Albert Museum.

Maaike Anne Stevens (NL) is a visual artist based between Amsterdam (NL) and London (UK). She received a BSC/MSC Industrial Design Engineering at the TU Delft (2005) before going on to complete a BFA at Central St.Martins College of Art and Design (2008) and an MFA Fine Arts at Goldsmiths College (2012).
Past exhibitions include group shows at The Jerwood Space (London), Vitrine Gallery (London), The Art Gallery of Alberta (Edmonton), and the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo (Santiago). She had solo shows at the Acme Project Space (London), the Whitechapel Idea Store (London), Artpocalypse Collective (Amsterdam) and most recently at Galería Tajamar (Santiago). In 2017 she completed a permanent sculpture for the facade of 26-32 Oxford Street in London, as part of a commission for Esa Architects and Westminster City Council. Maaike was twice shortlisted for the Jerwood Drawing Prize and has executed works with Jealous Gallery London and the London Print Studio, both as part of recent graduate awards. She was part of the Catlin Guide 2013 ‘introducing the 40 most promising new graduate artists in the UK'. Residencies include work periods at the Banff Centre (Canada), Arquetopia, Puebla (Mexico), Atelier Austmarka (Norway) and Tiznit (Morocco) with Slow Research Lab. Her work is part of the Victoria & Albert Museum permanent collection.
