Martine NDIAYE est une Militante, Directrice de festival.
Elle est la Directrice du festival Films Femmes Afrique (Dakar, Sénégal).
Martine Ndiaye, infirmière de formation, a milité dans le CAP (Comité d’action des Prisonniers pour mettre fin à la peine de mort en France), déclenchant ainsi le début de sa lutte pour les droits humains. En 1976 elle co-fonde le collectif anti-Apartheid à Rouen et y milite activement pendant 8 ans. En 1984, elle choisit de suivre son mari au Sénégal. En 1990, elle cofonde l’Association « Trait d’Union ». Très attirée par la culture sénégalaise, les arts africains et le cinéma, et voulant s’ouvrir vers son pays d’accueil, elle crée en 2003 la première édition du festival Films Femmes Afrique.
Depuis 2015, elle consacre tout son temps au cinéma et à la préparation et l’organisation du festival Films Femmes Afrique qui a lieu, depuis 2016, tous les 2 ans. La 5ème édition s’est déroulée en février 2022 sur le thème « Femmes Créatrices d’avenir ».
En 2022, elle est membre du Jury de la Compétition officielle fiction, au Festival international du Film de Femmes de Salé – FIFFS 2022 (Salé, Maroc).

Martine NDIAYE is an Activist, Festival Director.
She is the Director of the African Women’s Film Festival (Dakar, Senegal)
Martine Ndiaye, a nurse by training, was an activist in the CAP Prisoners’ Action Committee to put an end to the death penalty in France. This was the beginning of her fight for human rights. In 1976 she co-founded the anti-Apartheid collective in Rouen and was an active activist for 8 years. In 1984, she chose to follow her husband to Senegal. In 1990, she co-founded the Association « Trait d’Union ». Attracted by Senegalese culture, African arts and cinema, and wanting to open up to her host country, she created the first edition of the Films Femmes Afrique festival in 2003.
Since 2015, she has been dedicating all her time to cinema and to the preparation and organization of the festival FILMS FEMMES AFRIQUE which takes place, since 2016, every 2 years. The 5th edition took place in February 2022 on the theme « Women Creators of the Future ».
In 2022, she member of the Narrative Official Competition Jury, at Salé International Women Film Festival – FIFFS 2022 (Salé, Morocco).

درست مارتين ندياي مهنة التمريض، ناشطة حقوقية في لجنة العمل من أجل السجناء لإنهاء عقوبة الإعدام في فرنسا، وهذه بداية نضالها من أجل حقوق الإنسان. في سنة 1976 شاركت في تأسيس مجموعة مناهضة الميز العنصري في روان وناضلت من أجل ذلك لمدة 8 سنوات. في سنة 1984، اختارت أن ترافق زوجها إلى السنغال. في سنة 1990، شاركت في تأسيس جمعية « Trait d’Union » جذبها للثقافة السنغالية والفنون والسينما الأفريقية، ورغبة منها في الانفتاح على البلد المضيف، أنشأت سنة 2003 مهرجان أفلام المرأة الأفريقية في دورته الأولى
منذ سنة 2015، كرست كل وقتها للسينما ولإعداد وتنظيم مهرجان أفلام المرأة الأفريقية، الذي يقام كل سنتين منذ سنة 2016. أقيمت لدورة الخامسة في فبراير 2022 تحت شعار نساء مبدعات المستقبل
