Bisan Owda

Bisan Owda (بيسان عودة), née en 1997, est une journaliste, influenceuse et réalisatrice palestinienne. Sur l'une de ses vidéo Owda dit venir d'un village dans la bande Nord de Gaza. Elle y aurait assisté, en visite chez ses grands-parents, à la destruction de leur plantation d'oranger par les forces israéliennes à l'age de quinze ans.



Owda travaille avec les Nations unies sur l’égalité des sexes, en tant que membre du Forum Agora pour l’innovation en matière de genre des jeunes d’ONU Femmes2. Owda également travaille avec l'Union européenne sur le changement climatique, et est ambassadrice de bonne volonté de l'UE.



Owda produit une émission, Hakawatia, diffusée par Roya TV et travaille pour le Fonds des Nations unies pour la population (UNFPA).



Bisan Owda publie des vidéos, documentant le quotidien des Gazaouis ou racontant son expérience personnelle vivant le génocide palestinien. Les vidéos d'Owda sur la vie des Paestiniens pendant la guerre depuis le 7 octobre 2023 ont été partagées par ABC News, Al Jazeera, BBC1 et Le Monde. Au 15 octobre 2023, Owda accumule plus de 180 000 abonnés sur Instagram. Owda et ses parents fuienront Beit Hanoun pour se réfugier à l'hôpital Al-Shifa quand Tsahal ordonne aux gazaouis d'évacuer. La maison de sa famille et son bureau à Rimal sont tous deux bombardés, détruisant tout le matériel de tournage d'Owda. Elle est témoin de la frappe aérienne de l'ambulance d'Al-Shifa le 3 novembre 2023.



Bisan Owda reçoit un Emmy Award en 2024 pour son documentaire 'It's Bisan from Gaza and I'm Still Alive'.

Bisan Owda (بيسان عودة), born in 1997, is a Palestinian journalist, influencer and director. In one of his videos Owda says he comes from a village in the northern Gaza Strip. While visiting her grandparents, she would have witnessed the destruction of their orange plantation by Israeli forces at the age of fifteen.



Owda works with the United Nations on gender equality, as a member of the UN Women Agora Forum for Youth Gender Innovation2. Owda also works with the European Union on climate change, and is an EU Goodwill Ambassador.



Owda produces a show, Hakawatia, broadcast by Roya TV and works for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).



Bisan Owda publishes videos, documenting the daily lives of Gazans or recounting his personal experience living through the Palestinian genocide. Owda's videos on the lives of Palestinians during the war since October 7, 2023 have been shared by ABC News, Al Jazeera, BBC1 and Le Monde. As of October 15, 2023, Owda accumulates more than 180,000 followers on Instagram. Owda and his parents fled Beit Hanoun to take refuge in Al-Shifa hospital when the IDF ordered the Gazans to evacuate. His family's home and office in Rimal are both bombed, destroying all of Owda's film equipment. She witnesses the Al-Shifa ambulance airstrike on November 3, 2023.
