Producteur et réalisateur nigérian.

Makpemose Ukusare (affectueusement appelé Mak’Kusare par ses amis et des collègues) détient un baccalauréat en technologie en design industriel et graphisme / production de films, spécialisé dans le scripting, la production et la réalisation. Il fait partie de l’atelier Produire Au Sud (pour les producteurs d’Amérique latine, d’Asie et d’Afrique) Nantes, en France et est répertorié dans le Producers Network, festival du film de Cannes.

Mak’Kusare a travaillé comme producteur et réalisateur de talk shows et de magazines télévisés, ainsi que d’émissions spéciales et de séries pour Africa Independent Television, chaîne de télévision internationale par satellite, à Lagos au Nigeria. Il a enseigné la production et la technique cinématographiques à l’école de formation ITPAN de Lagos et à l’Université d’Etat de Lagos et a aussi animé des ateliers de production à l’Institut national du cinéma de Jos. Actuellement, il dirige le département cinéma et télévision de la société Avehil Limited. Cette société se lance dans la production de son premier long métrage de fiction, « Ninety Degrees » (2006). Plusieurs autres projets sont toujours en gestation. Mak Kusare est aussi acteur, danseur et percussionniste. Il a participé au Talent Campus du festival de Cannes 2005.

Makpemose Ukusare (fondly called Mak ‘Kusare by friends and colleagues) holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Industrial Design and Graphics (Abubarkar Tafawa Balewa University) / Motion Picture Production, specializing in Scripting, Producing and Directing (National Film Institute). He is part of the Produire Au Sud workshop (for producers from Latin America, Asia and Africa) Nantes, France and is listed in Producers Network, Cannes film festival.
In 2007, he was awarded the British Council International Young Creative Entrepreneur IYCE (for TV and Motion Picture) and in 2011 he won the special Jury prize at FESPACO Ouagadougou, for his work in the motion picture « Champions of Our Time », among many others.

Mak Kusare has worked as a producer and director of Television talk shows Magazine programme, Special features and Tv series, for an international tv satelite station, Africa Independent Television, Lagos, Nigeria. He has also taught film production and technique in the ITPAN training school, Lagos, the Lagos state University, and handled Film production workshop classes at the National Film Institute,Jos. At the moment he heads the Film and Tv department of Avehil Limited.
The Company is embarking on its first Feature length film production called « Ninety degrees » Several other projects are still in the pipe line.
