Réalisateur, Scénariste et producteur nigérian.

Après avoir obtenu son diplôme de droit avec difficulté, Chuko s’est installé à New York et a fait des stages à The Gersh Agency et Innovative Artists où il a appris à connaître le monde du cinéma et a découvert le concept d’école de cinéma.
En s’appuyant sur les contacts établis pendant son séjour à New York, Chuko est retourné au Nigeria et a produit le film de Julius Onah, Big Man dans le cadre du programme Africa First de Focus Feature. Il a ensuite réalisé deux autres courts métrages : Goose, co-réalisé avec son frère jumeau, Arie, qui a fait sa première au 2017 LA Film Festival et Besida, une sélection officielle au 2018 Berlin Film Festival.
Il a un Master en Beaux-Arts de l’Université de New York (NYU) où il a été Purple List Winner avec le scénario d’Eyimofe et est membre duIFP Narrative Lab.
Il a co-réalisé avec son frère jumeau, Arie, Eyimofe (2020).
Il vit à Lagos.

Nigerian Film Director, Screenwriter and Producer.

Born in Warri, Nigeria in 1985. He has an MFA in Screenwriting and Directing from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Film Program. Eyimofe (2020) is his first feature film.

After graduating law school miserable, Chuko moved to New York and rattled around internships at The Gersh Agency and Innovative Artists where he learned about the film business and discovered the concept of film school.
Building on connections made during his time in New York, Chuko returned to Nigeria and produced Julius Onah’s, Big Man as part of Focus Feature‘s Africa First Program. He went on to make two more short films: Goose, co-directed with twin brother, Arie, that premiered at the 2017 LA Film Festival and Besida, an official selection at the 2018 Berlin Film Festival.
He has a Masters in Fine Arts from New York University (NYU) where he was a Purple List Winner with Eyimofe script and is an IFP Narrative Lab Fellow.
He co-directed with his twin brother, Arie, Eyimofe (2020).
He lives in Lagos.
