Soda Pictures a désormais pris le nom de Thunderbird Releasing, après son rachat en septembre 2004 par la société canadienne Thunderbird Entertainment Inc. (Vancouver).

Soda Pictures rebrands as Thunderbird Releasing.
Soda was acquired by Canadian production company Thunderbird Entertainment Inc. (Vancouver) in 2014 and the name change sees the Thunderbird brand expand current business in the UK/Ireland and move into film distribution in Canada.
The deal sees the two Soda principals – Eve Gabereau and Edward Fletcher – join forces with Thunderbird to create a stronger, bolder market position, build their libraries, acquire and release new content in both Canada and the UK/Ireland and grow strategic partnerships across the Atlantic.
Gabereau and Fletcher continue to lead Soda and have long-term contracts with the company.
