The Film a été créée en 2003 par Michael Gentile, ancien producteur de télévision (M6, Canal+, Paris Première) et directeur de Radio (Oui Fm, Radio nova). La vocation de cette société de production est de produire un ou deux longs métrages par an en privilégiant, de manière éclectique, les cinéastes aux univers affirmés et les coproductions internationales.

The Film was created in 2003 by Michael Gentile, a former TV producer (M6, Canal +, Paris Première) and radio director (Oui FM, Radio Nova). The vocation of this company is to produce one to two feature films a year by favouring, in an eclectic way, film-makers with assertive universes as well as international co-productions.
