Sigurjon Sightvatsson est l’un des plus grands producteurs de cinéma à l’heure actuel. Fondateur avec Steve Golin de la société Propaganda puis de la société Lakeshore Entertainement, il compte à son actif des collaborations avec Kathryn Bigelow, David Lynch, David Fincher, Spike Jonze, etc.

Parmi ses productions majeures figurent notement : Sailor et Lula de David Lynch, K19-The Widowmaker de Kathryn Bigelow avec Harisson Ford, mais égallement Basquiat de Julian Schnabel, In Bed with Madonna ainsi que la légendaire série Twin Peaks pour n’en citer que quelques-unes parmi les plus marquentes.
