Film Clinic produced films in Egypt since 2007 with an impressive record of success in a short period of time.
Film Clinic production started its work in film production in 2007, by producing three films: Waraket Shafra, Zay El Naharda and El Alamy. Film Clinic is planning to produce a minimum of three films in 2010 which started with Microphone already. And recently made a deal with Rotana Studios to produce several films in the upcoming period.
Founded in 2006, Film Clinic has established a distinctive mark on Egyptian film production. This success has been achieved in recognition of the high quality scripts the company’s professional writing team has supervised under Hefzy’s supervision, as well as the production of various films that presented different creative ideas and the screenwriting workshops initiated by Mohamed Hefzy in 2006, including a workshop in July 2008 conducted by famous American screenwriter Syd Field. By means of these workshops Film Clinic strives to build a strong new generation of writers.
Film Clinic was founded in 2006 and managed by renowned producer and scriptwriter Mohamed Hefzy. Film Clinic specializes in production and providing film and television services for various local and international companies.
During its first years, Film Clinic focused on preparing young authors to carry the task of developing scripts for Egyptian cinema, and hired foreign experts from the industry to coach them. Then the company started to be more active in writing original scripts or developing scripts for other writers. In July 2008, the company started organizing screenwriting workshops with the famous American screenwriting coach Syd Field.
Film Clinic production started its work in film production in 2007 and the company’s filmography includes 4 production to date, which are Waraket Shafra, Zay El Naharda, El Alamy andMicrophone; which was chosen to take part in the 35th Toronto International Film Festival. Film Clinic is planning to produce a minimum of three films in 2010 which has been started with the shooting of Microphone. Film Clinic recently made a deal with Rotana Studios to produce several films in the upcoming period.

These films have established a new genre of quality for Egyptian cinema in recent years, introducing the action and drama genre instead of the comedy genre that has always constituted the larger sector of Egyptian films during the past decade.
