Le 65ème Festival International du Cinéma de Venise, organisé par la Biennale de Venise, aura lieu au Venice Lido du 27 Août au 06 Septembre 2008.
Marco Müller sera le directeur de cette édition, continuant le travail qu’il a commencé en 2004.
Le programme de la 65ème Mostra de Venise comprend les sections suivantes :
· Venezia 65 : une compétition internationale de longs métrages, présentés en Première mondiale et concourant pour le Lion d’Or (Golden Lion)
· Out of Competition : importantes oeuvres de l’année, et en particulier celles de réalisateurs déjà sélectionnés lors des autres éditions du Festival
· Orizzonti : une section qui vise à offriri un regard sur les nouvelles tendances du cinéma
· Corto Cortissimo : une compétition internationale de courts métrages (n’excédant pas 30 minutes)
· These Phantoms: Italian Cinema Rediscovered (1946-1975) : une nouvelle rétrospective de séries de projections et restaurations
Le Festival s’ouvre le soir du Mercredi 27 Août par la première projection mondiale de Burn After Reading de Joel et Ethan Coen.

The 65th Venice International Film Festival, organised by the Venice Biennale, will take place at Venice Lido from August 27th to September 6th 2008. The aim of the Festival is to encourage the awareness and the promotion of all the various aspects of international cinema as art, entertainment and industry, in a spirit of freedom and tolerance.
Marco Müller will be the director of this edition, continuing the work he began in 2004.
The line-up of the 65th Venice Film Festival includes the following sections:
