Les deux voisins est un court métrage pour les enfants et joués par des enfants. C’est une adaptation d’un conte traditionnel cambodgien.
Deux chasseurs, Sok et Choch, décident de poser des pièges dans la forêt. Sok le place au sol, Choch au sommet d’un arbre. Ce dernier, dans la nuit, trouve un cerf prisonnier du piège de Sok, le prend et le glisse dans son propre piège.
Le lendemain, Sok l’accuse d’avoir volé son cerf et porte plainte. Mais le juge donne raison à Choch. Sok part donc à la recherche d’un avocat. C’est alors qu’il tombe sur le Lièvre qui décide de l’aider.
Le jour de l’audience, Sok et le Lièvre arrivent en retard. Le Lièvre justifie leur retard par un événement extraordinaire rencontré sur la route : des centaines de poissons grimpaient sur un tamarinier pour en manger les feuilles. Le juge l’accuse de mentir. Le Lièvre lui répond qu’il avait pourtant cru Choch lui dire qu’il avait attrapé un cerf dans un arbre. C’est ainsi que le juge comprend que Choch a volé le cerf de Sok.
A partir de ce jour, le Lièvre devient le JUGE LIEVRE.

Chan and Sok go trapping in the bush. One trap is placed at the foot of a tree while the other is placed at the top of the same tree. In the morning, Sok is surprised to see a deer caught in the bird trap at the top of a tree. He files a complaint against his friend…

With the help of a monkey herd and the Hare, Chan will do anything to expose the truth.
