Le film débute au plus fort du second intifada en 2002, puis avec Tarek qui est de retour dans sa ville natale après dix ans d’emprisonnement pour avoir pris part au premier Intifada. Il apprend que sa fille, Nour, a été recueillie par une inconnue après le décès de sa mère.
A la recherche de sa fille, Tarek s’installe à Naplouse où il se trouve un travail et tombe amoureux de la future épouse de son patron, Lila, couturière qui vit avec ses deux enfants, dont une fille Malak qu’elle a adopté.L es secrets du jeune homme refont vite surface et risquent d’avoir des conséquences sur son nouvel entourage.

The film begins at the height of the second Palestinian uprising in 2002 with Tareq, an enigmatic man bearing fresh wounds. Tended to by local nuns and a priest, who help him escape, he is soon arrested by Israeli soldiers. Ten years later, Tareq is released from prison and returns to his town, a place transformed by drastic changes and filled with secrets, to find his daughter, Nur. His search leads him to an angry woman on the verge of violence.

يبدأ الفيلم في ذروة الانتفاضة الفلسطينية الثانية عام ٢٠٠٢ مع طارق، رجل غامض يحمل جروحاً جديدة. يعيش محمياً من قبل راهبات وكاهن يساعده على الهروب، وما يلبث أن يعتقل من قبل جنود إسرائيليين. بعد
