Salwa, jeune étudiante tunisienne, tombe amoureuse d’Ahmadou, étudiant Burkinabais dans la même université. Redoutant une réaction raciste de la part de sa famille, Salwa présente Ahmadou comme un footballeur plein d’avenir. Par opportunisme, le père et le frère accueillent le jeune africain avec enthousiasme. Le stratagème échoue mais l’amour des deux amants finira par triompher de tous les obstacles.
