Marie Roger Biloa

Marie Roger Biloa est actuellement directrice du mensuel Africa International. Elle est également rédactrice en chef du magazine Ici-Les gens du Cameroun. Elle a animé l’AITS (Association Internationale Thomas Sankara), avec Sennen Adrimirando et David Gakunzi Cette associaton n’a eu qu’une existence éphémère. Marie Roger Biloa a probablement été touchée par le personnage de Thomas Sankara mais son mensuel fait régulièrement paraitre des publicités pour des pays dont les présidents sont des piliers de la Françafrique.

Diplômée d’études germaniques à l’Université Paris 4, elle a travaillé pour Jeune Afrique avant de devenir rédactrice en chef, puis de prendre la direction d’Africa International en 1991.

Basé à Paris, le magazine Africa international est né en 1958 à Dakar. C’est le plus ancien des panafricains francophones. Avec plus de 80 000 exemplaires diffusés dans 45 pays, il est destiné à la classe politique africaine, aux milieux d’affaires et aux étudiants. Depuis peu, il consacre une section aux débats relatifs aux Africains en France.

Marie-Roger Biloa is the Chief Executive Director of The Africa International Media Group.
She is a journalist by profession, being the Editor of the political magazine « Africa International », and founding Editor of two highly successful local publications, « ICI-Les Gens du Cameroun » (2004) and « ICI-Les Gens du Gabon » (2008). A very frequent talk show guest in Europe and Africa, Ms Biloa is also president of the « Club Millenium » in Paris, a think tank for Africa and a much appreciated networking center for African and international business and political leaders. Marie-Roger Biloa has been running for 17 years « Africa International » which is the longest established French-speaking Panafrican magazine, created in 1958 in Dakar in Senegal. This magazine is intended for the political community, business executives, social activists, cultural actors, Africans in the Diaspora and students alike.
