Egyptian choreographer, Actor and Film Director.
Walid Aouni was first known in Belgium in 80's. He studied "Graphic Arts" and fine arts at the Royal Academy of fine Arts in Brussels in 1980. He created his first dance theatre group "Tanit, theatre of dance theatre". In 1988, his dance theatre group staged the inaugural performance for Arab World Institute in Paris. The Ministry of Culture in Belgium acknowledged him as a modern dance choreographer. During this period,he choreographed and directed 8 famous performances.
