Zoltan Korda (1895-1961), est né en Hongrie et s’est installé plus tard au Royaume-Uni en 1945 où il est devenu citoyen Britannique.
Korda est surtout connu pour ses films d’aventure, exotiques comme Les Quatre plumes blanches (The Four Feathers) bien sûr datant de 1939, mais aussi (1935). Le cinéma était une histoire de famille chez les Korda : pendant que Zoltan signait la réalisation de tous les films, ses deux frères Vincent et Alexander étaient respectivement en charge des décors et de la production durant sa période britannique.

Zoltan Korda (1895-1961), was born in Hungary but later on moved to England in 1945 where he became a British citizen. Korda is remembered mainly for his adventure, exotic type films such as The Four Feathers of course but also « Sanders of the River » (1935). Cinema was a family affair at the Korda’s, while Zoltan was the director of all the films, his two brothers, Vincent and Alexander, were respectively in charge of designing the sets and producing his British period.
