Clio Sozzani

Anthropologue et cinéaste italienne.

Clio SOZZANI est anthropologue et réalisatrice. Elle a travaillé en Éthiopie et au Sénégal pour des projets de coopération internationale au développement. Pour le ministère italien des Affaires étrangères, elle a géré un programme, Behavioral Change Communication, en réalisant des spots et des vidéos de sensibilisation. Elle a travaillé comme réalisatrice pour différentes sociétés de production et organisations à but non lucratif. Avec Claudia Palazzi, elle a écrit un film sur l’entrepreneuriat féminin, qui a remporté le financement de la Commission italienne du film ; elle a également réalisé deux courts métrages documentaires sociaux qui ont été sélectionnés aux Festivals de Leipzig, Milan, Rome et Venise. De plus, elle a développé un webdocumentaire pour Slow Food International.

Clio SOZZANI is an anthropologist and a filmmaker. She has worked in Ethiopia and Senegal for International Development Cooperation Projects. For the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, she managed a program, Behavioural Change Communication, directing spots and awareness-raising videos. She has been working as a film director for different production companies and non-profit organizations. Together with Claudia Palazzi, she wrote a film on women’s entrepreneurship, which won the funding of the Italian Film Commission; she also directed two short social documentaries that were selected in Leipzig, Milan, Rome, Venice Film Festivals. In addition, she has developed a web documentary for Slow Food International.
