Mohamed EL ABOUDI est né et a grandi au Maroc. Il a étudié le théâtre à l’Université de Fez, et le cinéma et la télévision à la Bond University, en Australie.
Parmi ses derniers films : DANCE OF OUTLAWS (82 minutes, 2012), « Fight of Fate » (2010), « City Folk Helsinki » (2007), « Inside / Offside » (2006), « Two Mothers » (2005), « Ramadan » (2004) et « My Father, the Freemason » (2003).

Mohamed El Aboudi is a freelance film director with experience in camera and editing as well. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre from University of Fes, Morocco, and Master of Film and Television from Bond University, Australia.

In his work Mohamed has been interested in strong human stories. He has made documentaries about asylum seekers, mothers of immigrants, artists, and a girl with Down syndrome. His latest films explore the theme of becoming an outsider in your own society.

Mohamed directed DANCE OF OUTLAWS, a long documentary that tells about Moroccan wedding dancers.

Mohamed’s documentaries have been shown in Doc Point Helsinki, Tampere Film Festival, DocLounge Helsinki and Tampere, Message to Man Film Festival, St Petersburg and Love and Anarchy Film Festival, Helsinki. Inside/Offside: Dreams vs. Reality was chosen to represent Finland in Prix Europa competition in Berlin 2006.
