Inadelso Cossa

Réalisateur, scénariste, directeur de la photographie et producteur mozambicain.

Inadelso COSSA est né en 1984 à Maputo, au Mozambique. Depuis 2006, il travaille en tant que réalisateur, producteur et directeur de la photographie, basé au Mozambique. Son premier long métrage documentaire "Une mémoire en trois actes" a été sélectionné en avant-première à l'IDFA et a remporté la Mention spéciale du jury au Festival International de Zanzibar en 2018. En 2019, il est invité à faire partie du jury Courts métrages de l'IDFA et du jury international du Sheffield Doc Fest 2019. "The Nights Still Smell of Gunpowder" (2024), son deuxième long métrage documentaire a fait sa Première mondiale à la Berlinale 2024.

Mozambican filmmaker and member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences member since 2020.

Inadelso Cossa has been a Mozambique-based independent film producer and director since 2006. In 2010 he was assistant director on "Children Republic", directed by Flora Gomes. A 2013 Durban Talent Campus alumnus, he won awards at FIKE - Évora International Short Film Festival 2013 and FFER - Récife International Ethnographic Film Festival 2013 for "Xilunguine, the Promised Land".

Mozambican filmmaker and member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences member since 2020. He is the founder of 16mmFILMES. His debut documentary, "A Memory in Three Acts", premiered at IDFA in 2016, winning the Jury Special Award at the Zanzibar International Film Festival in 2018.
