Sherin Diab

Scénariste égyptienne.
Elle est la soeur de Mohamed Diab. Sherin (co)signe son premier scénario de long métrage fiction avec son frère, pour Ahmad ABDALLAH (2014, DECOR).

Sherin Diab studied commerce in her hometown of Ismailia. After graduating and moving to Cairo, she continued her studies in fine arts, jewelry design, creative writing, and scriptwriting, and worked for four years in silver and gold jewelry design. Her first feature script, co-written with Mohamed Diab, was about the rise of an Egyptian revolution but was never produced when the January 2011 revolution became a reality. She co-wrote with Mohamed and Khalid Diab a two-season TV series and the second installment of the Egyptian feature El Gezira (The Island). Diab strongly believes that writing in a team presents challenges that reap irreplaceable creative benefits.

درست شيرين دياب في كلية التجارة في موطنها الإسماعيلية، ثم انتقلت إلى القاهرة بعد التخرج وأكملت دراساتها في الفنون الجميلة، تصميم الحُلي، الكتابة الإبداعية، وكتابة السيناريو، وعملت أربع سنوات في مجال تصميم الحُلي من الفضة والذهب. أول تأليف سيناريو لها (بشراكة محمد دياب) كان عن تخيّل لثورة مصرية، ثم قامت بالفعل ثورة في ٢٥ يناير ٢٠١١ ولم يُنتَج الفيلم. كتبت شيرين، بشراكة محمد وخالد دياب، مسلسل خطوات الشيطان الجزء الأول والثاني، وفيلم الجزيرة ٢. تؤمن شيرين أن الكتابة بفريق عمل تطرح تحديات تنتج فوائد إبداعية قيمة لا غنى عنها
