Amel Blidi est journaliste au quotidien francophone El Watan depuis une dizaine d’années. En 2013, elle s’initie au cinéma documentaire à travers l’atelier Béjaia doc, en co-réalisant Demain est un autre jour avec Nabil Boubkeur. À l’ombre des mots (2016) est son second court métrage documentaire. Elle vit et travaille à Alger.
