Gehan ISMAIL est une actrice, réalisatrice, scénariste et productrice. Elle a obtenu une Licence en sciences, a travaillé dans le théâtre en Tunisie, puis a rejoint la Kleber Academy for Film Industry avec le Dr Ali Badrakhan. Elle a participé au travail théâtral en tant qu’actrice du Centre culturel Danemark au Caire.
Le court métrage « Wedding dress » (2019) est sa première œuvre Cinématographique en tant que réalisatrice.

Gehan ISMAIL is an actress, film director, screenwriter and film Producer. She studied acting at the Ibn Rashiq Theatre in Tunis, and then went on to study cinema at the Calibre & Badrakhan Film Academy in Cairo under the supervision of Dr Ali Badrakhan. Wedding Dress is Ismail’s first work as a film director.

تحصلت على الإجازة فالعلوم عملت بالمسرح فى تونس ثم التحقت بأكاديمية كليبر لصناعة السينما مع الدكتور على بدرخان وشاركت فى عمل مسرحى كممثلة تابع للمركز الثقافى الدنماركى بالقاهرة. ويعتبر فيلم » فستان فرح » الروائى القصير اول اعمالها السينمائية كمخرجة
