Ayla Gottschlich a grandi à Berlin. Elle a étudié la réalisation à la Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. En 2010, elle est boursière à l’Académie des Arts en cinéma. Gottschlich a fait ses débuts « The Mandate », qui a été produit avec le SWR. En 2013, elle réalise le long métrage documentaire « Chronicle of a Revolt – One Year Istanbul », créé en collaboration avec ZDF-Das Kleine Fernsehspiel et Arte. La première mondiale a eu lieu au Festival international de Rio. Par la suite, elle a produit le documentaire « Rania’s Dream » pour Arte, le long métrage « A Part Of Me » et le documentaire « Lola’s Songs » pour 3-Sat / ZDF. Depuis 2018, Gottschlich développe une série internationale avec sa société Two Moons Pictures.

Ayla Gottschlich grew up in Berlin. She studied directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. In 2010 she was a scholarship holder at the Academy of Arts in the field of film art. Gottschlich made her debut « The Mandate », which was created in cooperation with the SWR. In 2013 she directed the full-length documentary « Chronicle of a Revolt – One Year Istanbul », created in collaboration with ZDF-Das Kleine Fernsehspiel and Arte. The world premiere was held at the international Festival do Rio.
