Miloud Khetib

Miloud Khetib, né le 15 février 1945 à El Asnam, en Algérie, est un acteur et scénariste algérien.



Miloud Khetib a connu une carrière riche et singulière, marquée par une présence et une énergie qui ont séduit de nombreux spectateurs et metteurs en scène. Son premier contact décisif avec le théâtre se produit lors d’un voyage au Festival d’Avignon, profitant d’une initiative d'une compagnie française installée dans sa ville natale. Cette expérience coïncide avec le jour de l’indépendance algérienne, le 5 juillet 1962, ce qui marque le début de son engagement dans le monde du spectacle. De retour en Algérie, il poursuit sa formation à l’École nationale d’art dramatique. Il participe à des troupes populaires où il affirme sa passion pour la scène.



Sa carrière théâtrale s’est illustrée par des collaborations avec des metteurs en scène de renom tels que Patrice Chéreau, Claude Régy ou Luc Bondy. Il intègre la prestigieuse Comédie Française et en devient sociétaire durant la saison 1984-1985. Sa filmographie et ses rôles marquent également les esprits, notamment dans Les Paravents de Jean Genet ou dans des œuvres telles que Le rescapé (1986), Le conte d’hiver (1989) et Morituri (2007). Au cinéma, il joue également dans La Vache (2015), Né quelque part, et Le Monstre du labyrinthe, pour lesquels il reste apprécié par le public et la critique pour la justesse et l’humanité qu’il apporte à ses personnages.



Miloud Khetib a vécu à Marseille avec sa femme, la metteuse en scène Marie Vayssière, jusqu’à son décès à l’âge de 80 ans le 20 novembre 2025. Sa carrière, s’étendant sur plus de trois décennies, laisse une empreinte durable sur le théâtre et le cinéma franco-algérien, symbolisant le pont entre les cultures et l’engagement artistique.

His theatrical career has been distinguished by collaborations with renowned directors such as Patrice Chéreau, Claude Régy, and Luc Bondy. He joined the prestigious Comédie-Française and became a member during the 1984-1985 season. His filmography and roles have also left a lasting impression, notably in Jean Genet's The Screens and in works such as The Survivor (1986), The Winter's Tale (1989), and Morituri (2007). Miloud Khetib lived in Marseille with his wife, the director Marie Vayssière, until his death at the age of 80 on November 20, 2025.
