Il est né le 17 Août 1975, au Caire, Egypte. Il est le fils du réalisateur Mohammad Abdul Aziz et le neveu du cinéaste Omar Abdel Aziz, l’actrice Samira Muhsin est sa tante. Son père comme son oncle sont connus pour avoir marqué de leur empreinte par leurs films le cinéma égyptien moderne.
Karim a été formé à l’Institut du Cinéma du Caire (section Réalisation) où il est entré en 1994 (diplômé en 1997).
Ahmed Nader Galal, Ahmed Samir Farag, Marwan Wahid Hamed et Mohamed Ismail Shafei ont été ses camarades de formation à l’Institut du Cinéma.
Il a commencé à travaillé au Département de Réalisation, à l’Institut du Cinéma comme assistant-réalisateur en 1997, avant de décider de sauter le pas devant la caméra. Le réalisateur Sherif Emara lui a donné son premier rôle, dans Edhak Elsora Tetlaa Helwa (1997). La notoriété de Karim a grandi après son rôle à la télé pour lequel il fut choisi par Samira Ahmed dans la série TV « Lady from the Era of Love » (« Femme à l’ère de l’amour » / « Emraa mn zaman el Hob ») avec Samira Ahmed dans le personnage titre.
Après, il tint le premier rôle à l’écran dans le film « Why did you Make me Love You? » où il a donné la réplique à Mona Zaki et Hala Sheeha.

Karim Abdel Aziz (born Cairo, Egypt, August 17, 1975) is an Egyptian actor. He is the son of director Mohammad Abdul Aziz and nephew of film director Omar Abdel Aziz, while his aunt is the actress Samira Muhsin. Both his father and his uncle are known for the imprint that their films have left on modern Egyptian cinema.
Karim played his first role at the age of five, later graduating from the Cinema Institute (directing division) in 1994.
Ahmed Nader Galal, Ahmed Samir Farag, Marwan Wahid Hamed and Mohamed Ismail Shafei all graduated from the Cinema Institute alongside Karim.
He began work at the Film Institute Department of Directing and was assistant director for a short time in 1997, before deciding to jump in front of the camera. Director Sherif Emara gave him his first role in Edhak Elsora Tetlaa Helwa (1997). Karim’s notoriety grew after his TV role when he was chosen by Samira Ahmed in the 1998 TV series « Lady from the Era of Love » (Emraa mn zaman el Hob) starring Samira Ahmed.
Following the show, he was given his first lead role on the silver screen in the movie « Why did you Make me Love You? » opposite Mona Zaki and Hala Sheeha.

ولد في حي العجوزة بالجيزة وهو ابن المخرج محمد عبد العزيز وعمه المخرج عمر عبد العزيز

ولد ليكون مخرجاً سليل والده المخرج محمد عبد العزيز وعمه المخرج عمر عبد العزيز الذين اشتهروا بأفلامهما التي تركت بصمة للسينما المصرية العصرية.. توقعوا له مستقبلاً مشرقاً مع الإخراج ليكون من أشهر مخرجى السينما القادمين.. ولكنه فاجأ الجميع بدخوله عالم آخر ليس بعيد عن عالمهم ولكنه عالم خاص إنه عالم التمثيل الذي رفضه والده في البداية لمشقته إلى أن اقتنع بموهبته وبقدرته على صنع شيئاً امام الكاميرا

اختار لنفسه شكلاً ليكون منفرداً ومميزاً بين جيلة.. اختار ان يكون كريم عبد العزيز بعيداً عن والده المخرج ليرفع شعار لن اعيش في جلباب أبى يحلم بالإخراج على طريقة صوفى مارسو لكنة يؤكد أنه حلم مؤجل إلى أن يثبت نفسه في عالم التمثيل كان أول ظهور لكريم كممثل وهو طفل صغير في فيلم المشبوه
