Youssef CHEBBI est un réalisateur, scénariste, compositeur, cadreur et acteur.

Il est connu pour « Vers le nord – Lel Chamel » (2010, Réalisateur), « Les Profondeurs » (2012, Réalisateur), « Babylon » (2012, Co-Réalisateur), « Black Medusa » (2020, Co-Réalisateur), « Ashkal » (2022, Réalisateur).

Youssef Chebbi est né en Tunisie en 1984. Après avoir fait des études d’arts, il a réalisé deux courts métrages, « Vers le nord » et « Les Profondeurs » qui ont été sélectionnés dans différents festivals internationaux. En 2012, il a co-réalisé le documentaire « Babylon » qui a gagné le prix du Jury au FIDMarseille et qui a été présenté au MoMA. « Ashkal » est son premier long métrage.

Youssef CHEBBI is a Director, Screenwriter, Composer, camera operator and actor.

He is known for « Vers le nord – Lel Chamel » (2010, Director), « Les Profondeurs – The Depths » (2012, Director), « Babylon » (2012, Co-Director), « Ashkal » (2022, Director).


Youssef Chebbi was born in Tunisia in 1984. After studying art, he directed two short films, « Vers le nord » and « Les Profondeurs – The Depths » selected in several international festivals. In 2012 he co-directed a documentary « Babylon » which won the jury prize at the FID of Marseille and was presented at MoMA. « Ashkal » is his first feature.
