Ghazi Albuliwi

Ghazi M. Albuliwi est acteur, réalisateur, scénariste et producteur.

Né en Jordanie en 1976, il est arrivé aux États-Unis très jeune. Son premier long métrage, West Bank Brooklyn, a été présenté pour la première fois à l'occasion du Festival de Film AFI et ensuite dans de nombreux autres festivals comme Gen Art. Il a ensuite été distingué comme l'un des "25 nouveaux visages du cinéma indépendant" par Filmmaker Magazine. En 2010, il a remporté le Creative Promises Award du Tribeca Film Institute remis par Robert De Niro [avec le scénario de Only in New York (Peace After Marriage), sorti en 2013]. Il a récemment été coscénariste de Héritage, le premier long métrage de Hiam Abbass, dans lequel il a également été acteur.

Later that year, he was named by Filmmaker Magazine as one of its "25 New Faces of Independent Film". In 2010, he won the Tribeca Film Institutes "Creative Promises Award" for his screenplay "Only in New York" from Robert de Niro during his film festival. Recently, he helped co-write and co-star Hiam Abbass first feature Inheritance.
