Tala Hadid

Née à Londres en 1974, d’origine marocaine, l’enfance multiculturelle de Tala Hadid a été marquée par l’exil et le voyage entre l’Europe et l’Afrique du Nord. Après des études (Beaux Arts et Philosophie) à la Brown University (USA), elle produit et réalise un documentaire sur Pasolini (. En 2000, elle reçoit une bourse pour intégrer la section film de l\’université de Columbia. Tes cheveux noirs Ihsan est son film de fin d’étude.

Hadid was born in London (England), to a Moroccan mother and an Iraqi father. Her paternal grandfather, a Marxist economist, was imprisoned under Saddam Hussein. Her aunt is the late architect Zaha Hadid.
Filmmaker and photographer Tala Hadid made her first feature documentary film, ‘Sacred Poet’ about Pier Paolo Pasolini. Her films have screened at film festivals around the world, including the Berlin International Film Festival and the Venice Film Festival, and shown in New York at the Museum of Modern Art and the Lincoln Center, in Minneapolis at the Walker Arts Center, in Paris at the Cinémathèque Française and in London at the Photographer’s Gallery, among other venues. Hadid’s ‘Your Dark Hair Ihsan’ (2005) was awarded the Kodak/Cinecolor Prize and received an Academy Award; in 2006 it went on to win the Best Short Film Award in the Panorama section at the Berlinale. In 2014, Hadid completed work on the award-winning feature ‘The Narrow Frame of Midnight’, which had its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and went on to screen at more than 100 film festivals.
Her feature-length documentary TIGMI NIGREN (HOUSE IN THE FIELDS), is scheduled to World Premiere in Berlinale 2017, Germany.

ناولت المخرجة والمصورة تالا حديد حياة الشاعر بيير باولو بازوليني في أول أفلامها الوثائقية الذي يحمل اسم « شاعر مقدس ». وعرضت أفلامها في العديد من المهرجانات السينمائية حول العالم، مثل مهرجان برلين السينمائي الدولي ومهرجان فينيسيا السينمائي، كما عرضت في متحف الفن الحديث ومركز لينكولن بنيويورك، وفي مركز ووكر للفنون بمينيابوليس، وفي سينماتك الفرنسية بباريس، وفي معرض المصور (Photographer’s Gallery) بلندن، وفي عدد من الأماكن الأخرى. ونال فيلمها « شعرك الأسود يا إحسان » (2005) جائزة « Kodak/Cinecolor » كما حصل على جائزة أكاديمية، ثمّ فاز في عام 2006 بجائزة أحسن فيلم قصير في مسابقة « بانوراما » بمهرجان برلين السينمائي الدولي. وفي عام 2014، انتهت تالا حديد من فيلمها الفائز بالجوائز « إطار الليل » الذي أقيم عرضه الأول في مهرجان تورونتو السينمائي الدولي، وعرض على شاشات أكثر من 100 مهرجان سينمائي
