Né en Tunisie en 1972.

De 2000 à 2005, Anis Lassoued est Directeur de casting et assistant à la réalisation de plusieurs films, aussi bien tunisiens qu’internationaux. Il réalise en 2003 son premier documentaire, Les poupées de sucre et en 2005 une courte fiction, L’enfant et la moisson magique. Anis Lassoued réalise aussi dans la même année un documentaire intitulé The ballon (La mongolfière).

Lassoued received a Bachelors Degree in Film Production from the Institut Maghréb in Tunis. He pursued further training in script writing at Fémis in Paris and has worked as an assistant and casting editor on many Tunisian and international films. He has directed three short fiction films and documentaries to date, and Magic Crop has won several awards at film festivals worldwide.

Anis Lassoued è nato a Nabeul, in Tunisia, nel 1972. Dopo la laurea in produzione cinematografica in Tunisia, ha seguito un master in documentario, sceneggiatura e direzione al FEMIS di Parigi. Nel 2006 ha fatto una ricerca triennale presso l’Università di Tor Vergata (Roma), confrontando alcune tradizioni documentarie siciliane e tunisine. Nel 2009 ha concluso il suo quinto documentario Un’estate a Sidi Bouzikri per Al Jazeera Children. Il suo ultimo lavoro, il cortometraggio Les Souliers de l’Aid ha ottenuto numerosi premi in diversi festival internazionali.

Anis Lassoued was born in Nabeul, Tunisia, in 1972. After graduation in Cinema production in Tunisia, he followed a master in documentary, scripting and direction at the FEMIS in Paris.In 2006 he did a three-year research at the University of Tor Vergata (Rome), comparing some Sicilian and Tunisian documentary traditions. In 2009 he concluded his fifth documentary A Summer in Sidi Bouzikri, for Al Jazeera Children. His last work, the short film Les Souliers de l’Aïd, obtained many awards at several international festivals.
