Mohamed Djediat (Sissani)

De son vrai nom Mohamed Djediat, Sissani, né le 26 Septembre 1920 à Alger, est un acteur et directeur de production algérien.

En 1933, il est sur les bancs de l’école Chabiba. Quelques années plus tard, alors qu’il était au Nadi Taraqi, Bachetarzi sollicita quelques élèves, pour donner du sang nouveau à sa troupe. Sissani fera partie de cette promotion qui rejoindra ainsi les Mansali, Benchoubène, Keltoum, Habib Réda et d’autres. Ses premiers pas sur scène le conduiront indifféremment dans la partie musicale ou théâtrale des spectacles de la troupe Mahieddine. Il fera de la musique dans la troupe Réda Bey, jouera dans les pièces radiophoniques et tiendra des rôles dans les téléfilms depuis 1952 (El Yakachine de Ali Abdoun). Il s’amusera à lancer aussi une maison d’édition El Kawakib dont le centième disque comprendrait la chanson « Meghdour Mimouna » interprétée par le duo Soudani et Hachemi (Respectivement Sissani et Guerouabi).

A l’opéra d’Alger, il était l’homme orchestre : comédien, à l’occasion, directeur par intérim. Se considérant comme acteur tragique et comique, il sera présent dans presque toutes les productions du TNA qu’il rejoindra en 1966. De Bab El Foutouh au Cahnt De La Forêt en passant par Sekket Salama et Le Cercle de Craie Caucasien, sur les planches, sa présence est imposante. Au cinéma, il jouera notamment dans "Chronique des Années de Braise" de Mohammed Lakhdar-Hamina (1974), "Echebka" deGhaouti Bendedouche (1976) et "Les Déracinés" de Mohamed Lamine Merbah (1976). Son dernier rôle cinématographique sera dans "Le Clandestin " de Benamar Bakhti (1989) durant lequel la maladie a commencé à le ronger. Sissani, artiste accompli, continuera à exercer son métier d'acteur, bravant la maladie, jusqu'à son dernier souffle le 29 juin 2003, à l'âge de 83 ans. Son fils dira que Sissani est mort comme il a vécu courageusement avec humour et sourire aux lèvres. il est inhumée au cimetière d'El Alia à Alger.

Sissani, an accomplished artist, continued to practice his profession as an actor, braving illness, until his last breath on June 29, 2003, at the age of 83. His son will say that Sissani died as he lived courageously with humor and a smile on his face. he is buried in the El Alia cemetery in Algiers.
