Driss CHOUIKA (شويكة) est un auteur, réalisateur et producteur. – Il est né en 1953 à Kelaa Sraghna (Région de Marrakech). – Licence en Sciences Economiques – Faculté de Droit Hassan II, Casablanca. – Formation dans les techniques cinématographiques dans des studios et laboratoires à Paris (1985/86). – Membre du Bureau National de la Fédération Nationale des Ciné-clubs du Maroc de 1981 à 1989, chargé des relations extérieures. – Membre fondateur des Rencontres du Cinéma Africain de Khouribga de 1983 à 1994, Secrétaire Général. – Directeur de la publication de la revue culturelle Vision Magazine. – Producteur et/ou Directeur de production de plusieurs films de fiction, documentaires, téléfilms, spots publicitaires et émissions TV… – Secrétaire Général de la Chambre Nationale des Producteurs de Films. – Secrétaire Général de la Coalition Nationale pour le Développement de l'Industrie du Cinéma et de l'Audiovisuel. Moroccan Actor, Film Director and producer. Driss CHOUIKA (شويكة) is an actor, film director and producer (b. 1953 in Kalaa Sraona AKA Kelâa Sraghna, Marrakech area – Morocco). He was trained through the Moroccan cine-club movement, the Fédération Nationale des Ciné-Clubs au Maroc (FNCCM), and one of the organizers of Khouribga film festival. He underwent a technical training in Paris studios and laboratories. Worked as magazine editor and, from 1996, in Moroccan television, making dramas and a series about cinema. Cowrote Mohamed Lotfi's "Rhésus, Another Person's Blood".
