Mosonngoa est très différente des autres filles de son village : elle maitrise les arts martiaux de ses ancêtres, un sport habituellement réservé aux hommes. Durant toutes ces années, Mosonngoa – « celle dont on se moque » (signification de son prénom) – a su cacher son talent, jusqu’au jour où elle doit retourner à ses racines pour défendre la ferme de son père.
