Imunga Ivanga

Réalisateur, critique de cinéma, scénariste et producteur gabonais.

Né en 1967 à Libreville (Gabon), Imunga IVANGA obtient sa licence de Lettres à l’Université de Libreville puis entreprend des études de cinéma à l’Institut FEMIS de Paris d’où il sort diplômé en scénarisation. Critique de cinéma, scénariste et producteur, il a à son actif plusieurs documentaires et courts métrages de fiction. DOLE, son premier long métrage de fiction, a obtenu le Tanit d’Or (Grand Prix) des Journées Cinématographiques de Carthage 2000. Imunga Ivanga présente son deuxième long métrage L’Ombre de Liberty au Fespaco en février 2007. Le site du cinéaste contient des pages consacrées au cinéma gabonais dans son ensemble.
Il devient directeur de l’Institut Gabonais du Cinéma (IGIS) en novembre 2009. En 2019, il est membre du Jury Longs métrages fiction au 26è FESPACO, Ouaga, Burkina Faso.

Gabonese Film Director, Screenwriter, Film critic and producer,

Born in Libreville, Gabon. Director Head of the CNC Gabon Imunga IVANGA graduates in Letters at the University of Libreviille then studies cinema and scriptwriting at the FEMIS in Paris.
Screenwriter, Film critic and producer, he has made several documentaries and short films. « Dôlé », his first feature film won the Golden Tanit at Carthage Film Festival in 2000. His second feature « L’Ombre de Liberty » (2006) was well received and obtained many awards in several festivals. Since 2007, he has been helping young Gabonese film-makers and authors as a script-editor, in the development of their projects. In November 2009, he became head of cinema in Gabon.
In 2019, he is Member of the Feature film jury at 26th FESPACO, Ouaga, Burkina Faso.

2009 عديد الجوائز في عدة مهرجانات و مساعدتهم و تأطيرهم في النهوض بمشاريعهم و منذ نوفمبر
.أصبح المسؤول عن السينما في الغابون
