Brooks, meadows and lovely faces
Yehia is a chef who manages with his two sons, Refaat, a passionnate cook, and the womanizer Galal, a catering company for weddings and other celebrations. Karima, Yehia’s niece, is promised to Refaat, but Refaat loves Shadia, without knowing that Karima loves also
someone else but waits the right moment to reveal her secret. During a peasant wedding catered by Yehia and his sons, Farid and his rich wife offer to buy their business. In front of Yehia’s refusal, the offer turns into a threat.

يدير يحيى وإبناه رفعت وجلال شركة متخصصة في تقديم الطعام في حفلات الزفاف والمناسبات. من المفترض أن تتزوج كريمة ابنة أخيه من ابنه الكبير رفعت ولكنها تحب شخصاً أخر. يقع رفعت في حب شادية، مطلقة تعود من دولة الإمارات حديثاً، وتنجذب شادية إليه ولكنها تخشى فرق السن والمستوى الاجتماعي. جلال الابن الأصغر ليحيى زير نساء ذو ماضٍ ملئ بالمشاكل والذي كان زوجاً لشقيقة كريمة قبل وفاتها. أثناء حفل زفاف يعمل به يحيى وإبناه، يحاول فريد أبو رايا وزوجته الشريرة أم رقية أن يجبرا يحيى على أن يبيعهما شركته

Yehia è uno chef che con i due figli, l’appassionato cuoco Refaat e il donnaiolo Galal, gestisce una società di catering specializzata in ricevimenti per matrimoni e altre cerimonie. Sua nipote Karima è promessa a Refaat, ma lui ama Shadia, senza sapere che in realtà Karima ama un altro ma aspetta il momento giusto per rivelare il suo segreto. Durante una festa di nozze allestita da Yehia e i figli, Farid e la sua ricca moglie tentano di forzare la volontà di Yehia affinché ceda loro l’azienda. Difronte al rifiuto di Yehia, l’offerta si trasforma ben presto in minaccia. « Ho iniziato a scrivere questo progetto nel 1996. Volevo fare un film sulle cose che amo: il cibo, il sesso, l’amore e, ovviamente, la libertà. Per molto tempo, i politici mi hanno impedito di realizzarlo ».
