Du 23 janvier au 1er février se déroulera la 19ème édition du Festival Régional et International du Cinéma de Guadeloupe (FÉMI).
A L’ORIGINE DU FESTIVAL, deux femmes guadeloupéennes, Felly SEDECIAS (Déléguée générale) et Patricia LAVIDANGE (Présidente). La première était organisatrice de spectacles en métropole, et passionnée de cinéma (son action lui a valu d’être décorée Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur), la seconde comédienne. Toutes deux sont unies par le désir de rentrer au pays et par la conviction de vouloir transmettre leur expérience et leur savoir-faire. Animées par une forte volonté d’entreprendre, elles créent, en 1992, le premier festival du 7ème art, intitulé « Femmes et Cinéma » en Guadeloupe.

Cette 4ème édition, va se dérouler du Mardi 29 au Jeudi 31 Janvier 2013 à LAKASA (Baie-Mahault), pour les professionnels du cinéma et de l’audiovisuel, et à l’ESPACE REGIONAL (Abymes) pour le grand public.
